Leo "Tommy" Thomas Brewer, Jr.

Leo Thomas Brewer Jr., affectionately known as "Tommy," was born on July 19, 1942, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He dedicated many years of his life to serving his community as an EMT, showing unwavering commitment and care for those in need.

Tommy's journey in life was marked by his service in the Army National Guard where he served as an EMT-1, highlighting his dedication to his country and fellow citizens. He lived a fulfilling life until he passed away on May 14, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana.

He leaves behind his family, including his daughters, Tyra Brewer Lee (Anthony) and Teena Galatas, and his son, Troy Brewer (Hope Seals). Tommy cherished his role as a grandfather to Angelle Thornhill, Anna Steinkamp, Abbigail Galatas, Kody Frierson, Leann Lee, Tiffani Brewer, Tabitha Brewer, Keari Sones, Karra Brewer, Troy Brewer II, and Ty Brewer. Additionally, he was a proud great-grandfather to 17 great-grandchildren.

Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Leo Thomas Brewer Sr., his mother, Vera Brewer, his brother, Kenny Brewer, and his sister, Nancy Franklin. His family and friends will remember him fondly for his warmth, dedication, and the love he shared throughout his life.
