Linda Taylor was born and raised in Boaz, Alabama. She later moved to Mississippi, where she lives for 32 years and built a beautiful life filled with family, love, and lasting memories. 

Linda shared 42 years of marriage with her husband, Allen. Together, they built a life centered around family and devotion to one another. She was a loving mother to her son, Sean and her daughter, Whittney, and a proud grandmother to her three granddaughters, Nova, Maci, and Merci. She also cherished her dogs, Roxy and Maddie, who held a special place in her heart. 

For 12 years, Linda walked a courageous journey with breast cancer. Through every challenge she faced, she showed remarkable strength and bravery. She rarely complained and never allowed cancer to define who she was or take away from the life she loved. She simply kept going- loving her family, caring for those around her, and living with a strength that inspired everyone who knew her. Her courage throughout those years was a true reflection of the woman she had always been.

Linda had a special way of making everything around her feel a little more beautiful and a little more special. She cared deeply for the people she loved and was always thinking of the extra touches that made others feel seen and cared for. Her family lovingly knew this as the "Linda touch". 

Linda will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, her silliness, and above all, the tremendous love she had for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she gave so freely and the memories she created will continue to live on through everyone fortunate enough to have known and loved her.

Linda is survived by her husband, Allen Taylor; her daughter, Whittney Taylor; her son, Sean (Sapphire) Taylor; her granddaughters, Nova, Maci, and Merci; her brother, Larry (Toni) Rickles; her sister, Charlotte Lackey; her siter in law, Veronica Rickles; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Rickles; her brother, David Rickles; and her nephew, BJ Lackey.

Her life was one filled with love, and that love will remain.

A private Celebration of Life will be held by family at a later date. In lei of flowers, donations may be made to the local animal shelter. All arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
