Lloyd E. Gardner, Sr., age 73, of Picayune passed away Friday, August 28, 2009 at his residence.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Lloyd was born June 15, 1936 in Crystal Spring, MS to his parents, Doris L. Gardner and Julius Gardner. He retired from Plaquemines Parish government as a diesel mechanic and served in the U. S. Navy.
He is survived by his three children, Lloyd E Gardner, Jr. ,Kathryn Vaness and Martin Bodeaux ;brother, Steven Gardner ;sister, Cristeen Elliot ;nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Doris L. Gardner and Julius Gardner; his wife, Annette Gardner
;four brothers, J. C. Gardner ,Carrol Gardner, Harold Gardner and Jack Gardner.
