Margaret Townsend St. Amand, age 71, of Carriere passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 at her residence.
A Memorial Service will be held by the family at a later date.
Margaret was an accomplished artist and a School Administrator. She loved her cats, flowers and people.
She is survived by her husband, Robert St. Amand; Sister, Jan Haley Lawrence and her husband Thomas of Weaverville, North Carolina; Two nephews Jonathan Wolf and family of Smithville, Texas and Roland Wolf and family of Abilene, Texas; One niece, Mary Ann Curl and family of Camas, Washington; Two step-sons, Robert St. Amand, Jr. of Carriere and Jeffery M. St. Amand of Slidell; One step-daughter, Melody (Raymond) Williams of Pearl River; Host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Olin Key Haley and Mary Margaret Whitton Haley.
Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
