Mary Pearl Kennedy, age 87, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Reeves officiating. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kennedy was a lifetime resident of Picayune and a member at Westlawn Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and Mam Maw and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jimmy Kennedy of Picayune; son, Charles W. Fore (Peggy) of Picayune; daughter, Lydia Ann Archer (Ray) of Picayune; 5 grandchildren, Raean, Jeremy (Kimberly), Nikki (Dustin), Chris (Samantha), and Justin (Ashley); 15 great-grandchildren, Montana, Baylee, Madison, Caitlyn, Kimbell, Rylee, Camryn, Jace, Kenley, Bently, Brock, Jaycee, Jackson, Jon'Elyn, and Roman.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Lydia Howard; brothers, Leroy Howard, John Howard, Louis Howard, and Dick Howard; sisters, Annie Lee Hartfield, and Lily Mae White.
