Mary Evelyn Smith of Picayune, Mississippi passed away on Thursday November 3, 2022, at the age of 86.
Mary was a lifelong resident of Picayune. She loved crafts and making porcelain dolls. She was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed crocheting. She was loved and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Jones (Cecil), and Beth Kahl (Corey); brothers, Elvin Ray Kennedy, and Terry Kennedy (Rosaphine); sisters, Barbara Graeter and Mavis Glidewell; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded by her husband, Charles Smith; parents, Barney Bonato Kennedy and Nettie Lee Stringer Kennedy; brothers, James Kennedy and Larvie Kennedy; and sister, Mada Lou Smith.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday November 7, 2022, at White Chapel Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
