Matthew Victor Johnson, age 47, of Chalmette passed away at his residence on June 3, 2011.
A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schaeffer's Restaurant on Robert Road in Slidell.
Matthew was born in New Orleans, was a resident of Chalmette for fourteen years, and was a Catholic.
He is survived by one brother, Neil (Charlene) Johnson of Pearl River, LA; one sister, Eileen (Mike) Hughes of Germantown, Tennessee; two nephews Joshua (Lindsay) Hughes and Noah Johnson; three nieces, Rachel Hughes, Brittany Turner and Meghan Johnson.
He is preceded in death by his parents Rodney Johnson and Lois Poussard Johnson.
