Michael Wayne Boone, age 60, of Carriere passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Highland Community Hospital.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 6th from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Frank Spiers officiating. Burial will be at Henleyfield Cemetery.
Michael was a lifetime resident of Picayune and worked as a welder/pipefitter. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Mickey W. Boone of Lafayette, Louisiana ;three daughters, Brandy Randol of Lafayette, Louisiana ,Amber Houck of Picayune and Krissi Boone of Carriere; one brother, Timothy Boone of Picayune;two sisters, Candice Henton of Picayune and Marlyn Tucker of North Carolina ;two grandchildren, Payton Brumley and Kaydence Mitchell.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Blanche Boone.
