Michael Anthony Bruner

Michael Anthony Bruner, born on November 25, 1961, in Oakland, California, passed away on November 20, 2025, in Carriere, Mississippi, just days shy of his 64th birthday. He is remembered for his vibrant spirit and love for life.

Michael was a proud member of the VFW, where he built lasting friendships and shared in camaraderie. He had a passion for singing and enjoyed the joy that karaoke brought him. In his free time, Michael loved motorcycle riding, relishing the freedom and adventure it provided.

Michael leaves behind his fiancée, Ellen Lucas, and his sister, Debbie Bruner. He also cherished the company of his dear friends, Ken Chahoc, Mike, and Ruthie. He has been reunited with his beloved parents, William Claude Bruner and Barbara Ann Coffman Bruner, who have preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held at VFW Post 3804, located at 421 Ridge Rd, Picayune, MS 39466, at a date to be announced. 

Michael’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of family and friends.
