Michael Gary Cooper of Poplarville, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, December 01, 2020 at the age of 73.
Michael was a longtime resident of Poplarville and a US Army Veteran that served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family. He loved his family and fur babies, Sugar and Bear. He was a jokester and an awesome father and grandfather. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Cooper; five sons, Randell Maxwell, Mark Maxwell (Hazel), Wade Maxwell (Tammy), John Maxwell (Laura), and Michael Cooper; brother, Billy Cooper (Dawn); eighteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Cooper and Edith Watkins; brother, Harold "Douglass" Cooper; and sister, Jackie Herrin.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Located at his home, 90 Marty Lane, Perkinston, MS.
