Michael Thomas Leinbaugh, born on August 7, 1947, peacefully passed away on April 29, 2026, in Picayune, Mississippi. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran who dedicated part of his life to serving his country. Michael had a passion for coin collecting and gardening, hobbies that brought him much joy throughout his years.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Donna P. Toler, who is married to Stanley, and Melissa J. Leinbaugh. His son, Thomas M. Leinbaugh, and his wife Christina also remain cherished members of his family. Michael’s sisters, Katherine Degataire and Delores E. Leinbaugh, along with his brother Steven Leinbaugh, survive him and share in this time of remembrance.

Michael was a proud grandfather to Sean P. Toler, D. Ryan Toler, Brooke M. Leinbaugh, and Derick T. Leinbaugh, who carry forward his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores A. Leinbaugh; his grandson, Matthew T. Leinbaugh; his father George H. Leinbaugh; and his mother, Doris Whitehurst Leinbaugh.

Visitation will be held on Monday May 4, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with the service to follow at 2:00 PM at the Picayune Funeral Home, located at 815 S. Haugh Ave., Picayune, MS 39466

Burial to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Michael's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
