Morris James Daigle was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana who died of Cancer at the age of 76, on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 as a loving Father and Grandfather.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. A memorial service at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Archbishop Ollie D. Hollis, Jr. officiating.
Mr. Daigle was a plumber, handyman, and he loved to work on cars, especially his hotrod. If anyone showed up at his house and didn't have any money he would help them anyway. He enjoyed helping others. He loved telling stories about the 50's and 60's and making us laugh. He lived his life on his own terms.
He is survived by his daughter, Tina Daigle Bonnaffons; two granddaughters, Victoria B. Monnier, and Nicole Rose Bonnaffons; two great-grandchildren, Cole and Casen Monnier; two step-children, Schenna Schielder, and Todd Schielder; a godchild, Debbie Elliot; and nieces and nephews.
