Myrtis Marie Carlan of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at the age of 75.
Myrtis was a long-time resident of Picayune and a member of First Baptist Church of Ozona. She loved serving the Lord and enjoyed being a Pastor's Wife, Sunday School Teacher, and a Church Pianist.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Wilton "Randy" Carlan, Jr.; two sons, Wayne Carlan and Philip Carlan; daughter in laws, Melissa Carlan and Jennifer Carlan; four grandchildren, Josh Carlan (married to Bethany), Alex Carlan (married to Kaylee), Courtney Valentine (married to Matt), and Megan Carlan; one great grandchild, Henry Carlan.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Earl and Pearlie Anderson; three brothers, Ferris, Olan, and Kenneth; three sisters, Ethel, Nadine, and Estelle.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 30, 2019, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., held at Picayune Funeral Home. Service will proceed at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
