Nellie M. Mixon Horowitz, age 69, of Picayune passed away Friday, January 20, 2012 at Slidell Memorial Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Picayune, MS with Father Mike Snyder officiating.
Mrs. Horowitz was a homemaker and a Catholic.
She is survived by her loving husband, Harold Horowitz of Picayune, Mississippi; Two sons, Richard Horowitz of Picayune, Mississippi and Jerry Horowitz of Covington, Louisiana; Three Daughters, Debbie Taylor of Picayune, Mississippi, Jennie Leveque of Mandeville, Louisiana and Christina Helm of Picayune, Mississippi; Three Brothers, Jerry Mixon of Meraux, Louisiana, Richard Mixon of Meraux, Louisiana and Sinclair Mixon, Sr. of Meraux, Louisiana; Fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Mixon and Alice Morgan.
