Parthenia Haggard James, age 65, of Picayune passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 in Gulfport, Mississippi.
A Memorial Service will be held at Resurrection Life on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Sylvia Diggs officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
Parthenia was a member of Eastern Star, a nurse's aid at Slidell Memorial Hospital, and attended Resurrection Life.
She is survived by three sons, Joseph Haggard of Picayune, Patrick Haggard of Seattle, Washington, Zerrick James of Minnesota; four step-sons, Michael (Sharon) James of Slidell, Melvin (Shirley Ann) James of Slidell, Paul (Drucilla) James of Slidell and Larry James of New Orleans; one daughter, Tyeisha Charles of Picayune, Mississippi; two step-daughters, Carrie (Johnell) Lee of New Orleans and Betty Ann James of Memphis, Tennessee; two sisters, Josetta Haggard and Elizabeth (Morris) Cousin-Smith of Slidell; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband McClavin James.
