Patricia Ann Cheramie, a lifelong resident of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on September 1, 1953, to Hezzie and Pauline Williamson, Patricia was known for her unwavering love for her family, her quiet strength, and her deep devotion to those she held dear.
On June 7, 1974, Patricia married the love of her life, Eugene Cheramie. Together they built a beautiful life over 51 years of marriage—one rooted in faith, commitment, and enduring love. Patricia was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a proud grandmother. Her greatest joy was found in the moments spent caring for her family and watching her grandchildren grow.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Hezzie and Pauline Williamson; her brothers Ed, George, David, and Michael Williamson; and her sister, Beatrice Rouse (Williamson). She missed them dearly and held them in her heart every day.
Patricia leaves behind her loving husband of 51 years, Eugene Cheramie; her children Eugene (Tiffany) Cheramie Jr. and Hilda (Scott) Seals; and her six precious grandchildren: Britton, Cloey, Cooper, Layla, Dallas, and Warren. She is also survived by many beloved sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her deeply.
Patricia’s memory will live on in the kindness she showed, the strength she carried through every season of life, and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
A visitation will be held on Friday June 13, 2025 for 2PM followed by a celebration of life for 3PM at Picayune Funeral home located at 815 S. Haugh Ave. Picayune, MS 39466.
