Phillip Steve Slaydon of Picayune, MS passed away Monday July 20, 2026, at the age of 75.

Phillip is survived by his children, Anthony, Phillip, and Robin Slaydon; siblings: Judy Fleming (Steve), Ricky Slaydon, Shelia Slaydon Smith (Henry), Glenda Slaydon (Glen), and Lionell Deese (Judy).

He is preceded in death by his father Henderson Slaydon and mother, Margaret Fleming; siblings: William Slaydon, Kathy Whitehouse, James "Whitey" Slaydon, Ann Deese and Annette Deese Nugent.

A graveside service will be held 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
