Robert Saxon Riley Jr., of Picayune, Mississippi passed away on July 19, 2026. Robert was born in Picayune to Robert Saxon Riley and Orether Riley on March 28, 1954. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and was a member of the Millard Hunting Club. He also enjoyed spending his time with his family and was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. Robert was also of the Baptist faith and a life long member of Sycamore Baptist Church.

Robert is preceded in death by his beloved wife Deborah Riley; father Robert "Saxon" Riley; mother Orether Hunt Riley; sister Elouise Bond (Dan), Peggy Smith, Bernice, and Ethel Marie.

He is survived by his sons Robert "Bobby" Riley III (Spanky), Jeff Rice (Stephanie), Scott Welch (Jay); daughter Mary Jane Cuevas (Kevin); sisters Louise Nelson (Michael),and Martha Sheffield; 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held by family 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Sycamore Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
