Roger Dale Wallace

Roger Dale Wallace, born on December 2, 1948, in Picayune, Mississippi, passed away on May 29, 2025, in Slidell, Louisiana. 

Roger proudly served his country as a Navy Veteran. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time on the water. He also enjoyed woodworking and "piddling around" outside his little house.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Karyn Dawsey (Randy) and Tracey DiMarco (Christopher), and his son, Gary Lee (Heidi). Roger was a cherished brother to Ellis Wallace. He found joy in the laughter and love of his grandchildren: Allyson Lee, Sarah Couture (Brandon), Kristie Mixon (Logan), Paige Spence (Bradley), Haylie Mixon, Allison Lee, Paiton Bryant, Joycelyn Lee, and Gary Lee Jr. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Cohen, Collin, Mavis, Cain, Miles, Cam, and Murphy. Roger leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember him fondly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Valentine Wallace Jr., his mother, Charlean Smith Rudeen, his brother, Ernest H. Wallace, and his sister, Sharon Lee. Roger's legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the family he loved dearly.

A private memorial will be held at at a later date.
