Roy Gene Thurman, age 70, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Monday, May 15, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Ora Elizabeth Thurman of Picayune; son, Steven Roy Thurman and his wife Tina of Bogalusa, Louisiana; step-son, Jessie Patterson of Picayune; one brother, Gregory Thurman of Bogalusa, Louisiana; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, David Houston Thurman and Mary Katherine Thurman.
