Salvador Michael LaChute, age 58, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away on Saturday June 6, 2026. He passed to his eternal resting place while at home, surrounded by family. Devoted husband, father, paw paw, brother, and friend. He dedicated his life to his family and his career. An avid deer hunter, who fought cancer like a true warrior.

Sal is preceded in death by his parents Victor LaChute and Dlorah McEvoy LaChute, sister Monica LaChute Leal, Niece Tiffany Terrebonne, sister in law Myra LaChute, Father in law Richard Dean Petticrew, Mother in law Addie Corine Petticrew, brother in law John Petticrew, brother in law Terry Petticrew, and sister in law Connie Pettiecrew.

Left to cherish his wonderful memories, is his wife of 33 years, Bonnie Petticrew LaChute, son Brett Michael LaChute (Anna), son Bailey Michael LaChute, daughter Brianna Marie LaChute Clark (Brandon), grandson Henry Brooks LaChute, and soon to welcome grandson Jettson Salvador Clark. He is also survived by his brother Robin LaChute (Charlotte), sister Vickie Terrebonne (David), sister Susie Wise (James), brother Victor Scott LaChute (Dawn), brother in law Norman Petticrew, brother in law Jerry Petticrew (Julie), brother in law Ray Petticrew (Linda), sister in law Donna Payne (Scott), sister in law Jeanette Petticrew, sister in law Annette Petticrew, as well as numerous nieces, and nephews that are so loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday June 28, 2026 at 1PM at Salem House located at 26008 MS-43, Picayune, MS 39466 .
