Sherry Michelle Morgan was born on December 17, 1969, in Vermont. She peacefully passed away on April 20, 2026, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Sherry was a woman who found joy in simple pleasures. She enjoyed scrapbooking, creating memories that would last forever in her beautiful albums. She also loved spending time in her yard, tending to the plants and flowers with care. These hobbies were a big part of her life and brought her happiness.

Sherry is survived by a loving family who held her dear. Her husband, Steve Slavit, stood by her side through life’s journey. Her daughter, Nicole Lombardo, carries on her mother’s spirit. Sherry was also close to her siblings Jeffery Morgan, James Lee Morgan, and Rhonda Davis ( husband, Paul Davis Jr.). Her heart was full of love for her grandchild, Steven Mitchell, who brought her much joy. She is also survived by her father Lee James Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jaqueline Tregre, and her brother, Lee James Morgan. Though they have passed, their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Sherry Michelle Morgan’s life was made up of the love she gave and the simple moments she cherished. She will be remembered fondly by family and friends alike.
