Sybil Mae Mitchell, age 74, of Picayune,died Monday, July 20, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Cedric Lumpkin and Bro. James Reeves officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 from 12-2 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home.Burial will be at Thigpen Cemetery
Sybil had lived in Picayune for 55 years. She was a member of Westlawn Baptist Church, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include: two daughters, Joyce Kellar of Picayune and Jackie Lee of Carriere; two brothers, Howard Winstead of Brandon, MS and Jack Winstead of Georgia;one sister, Erma Harriel of Puckett, MS;five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by: her parents, T.J. Winstead and Bessie Mae Crane Winstead and her husband of 51 years, Thalus Mitchell.
