"Terry" Terrell James Morrison Sr.

Terrell James Morrison Sr. "Terry", age 79 years, passed away on December 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved father of David M. Morrison, Amy Morrison Brossette, and the late Terrell "Terry" Morrison Jr. Grandfather of Amanda Morrison, Cheryl Champagne, Emily Alphonso, Ashley Bisesi, Peyton Brossette, and Jude Morrison. Great grandfather of Colton, Rhett, Cora, Cassidy, River, and Tatum. Brother of Wayne Morrison, Peggy Blocker, Linda Barth, Sheila Jones, and the late Stevie Morrison. His parents Cash J. Morrison Jr. and Rose Ernst Morrison, and his beloved wife of 35 years, Julia Hastings Morrison, preceded him in death. Additionally, Terry was blessed with a longtime companion and friend JoAnne Sever and he found joy in the companionship of his dog, Boots.

Terry retired after a long career with Bellsouth working as a Material Service Coordinator. Terry proudly served his country, having spent seven honorable years in the Navy, which included notable service during the Vietnam War. Terry leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Terry was a wonderful father and grandfather; his greatest joy was his family. 

Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Terry's life on Friday, December 12, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1309 Hwy 11 South, Picayune, MS at 11:00 AM. Service will be officiated by Rev. Bradley S. Aumann. Please join us in honoring the remarkable life of a dedicated family man and cherished friend. Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
