William (Bill) A. Prepski, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2017 and "God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes": Revelations 21:4
Visitation will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at Picayune Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel.
William was born on March 20, 1938 in East Chicago, Indiana. He was retired from Air Products and Chemical Company where he worked as a mechanic and from the National Guard of Indiana where he retired as a Sergeant First Class.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Virginia (Ginny) Prepski; two daughters, Wendy Golden of Texas, and Penny (Adam) Mehn of Louisiana; two grandsons, Stephen Mehn and Sion Evans.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia and Adam Prepski; and his sister, Barbara Prepski.
Bill enjoyed traveling, working on his model trains, and being with family and friends.
