William “Dudley” Stewart, born in Ruidoso, New Mexico, moved with his family as an infant and was a lifelong , devoted member of the Henleyfield, MS Community. He passed away on May 18,2025, in Jefferson, Louisiana.
Dudley had a deep love for the outdoors and lived life with a spirit of adventure. In his younger years, he raced motorcycles in Enduro and Motocross. He also enjoyed fishing, spending time by the river, and playing cards with friends.
He worked as a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with River Parishes Construction Materials and took pride in owning and operating his own truck, traveling the country and making lasting connections.
Dudley is survived by his sister, Diane Stewart, and niece, Ashley McLaurin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred “Helen” Wilson Stewart McLaurin, and father, Paul W. Stewart.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 21, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Henleyfield Community Center, 5371 Mississippi 43 N, Carriere, MS. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and honor a life well lived.
